KISS' “I Was Made For Lovin' You” Gets The Latin Pop Treatment

Mexican pop star PAULINA RUBIO has recorded a version of KISS' "I Was Made For Lovin' You" for inclusion on her brand new full-length album, entitled Border Girl. Commented RUBIO: “I remember hearing that song with my aunties when they were 20 years old and I was 10 or 11 years old, and I also went to a KISS concert with my father when I was a little girl. Years later, I was in an aerobic class when I had the idea of recording the song with my style, and I was very glad that my record company supported my idea.”

KISS frontman Paul Stanley has reportedly given PAULINA his blessing with regards to RUBIO covering the track—not an entirely surprising gesture, considering that PAULINA's last studio album, entitled simply Paulina, shifted some 2.5 million copies worldwide.
